Space for what you are carrying
Support for more than one kind of difficult season
You might come with a clear concern or simply a sense that everyday life has become harder. We can help you explore an appropriate starting point.
Low mood and disconnection
You are keeping up with responsibilities but feel flat, withdrawn or less interested in things you used to enjoy. You can describe the change without diagnosing yourself. We will discuss whether counselling fits and whether other assessment or support may be useful.
Boundaries and relationships
Saying no feels selfish, difficult conversations get put off or resentment keeps building. Individual support can focus on your needs, communication and choices. This is counselling for you, not couples or whole-family therapy.
Work, care and life changes
Work pressure follows you home, caregiving leaves little room for rest or a change in circumstances has unsettled your routines. Counselling can make room to discuss priorities, identity and what support is realistically possible.
Questions about starting individual counselling
Do I need a diagnosis or a crisis to reach out?
No. You can start with how you have been feeling and what you would like to understand or change. A consultation can help you consider fit. If you need medical assessment or a different kind of care, that can be part of the discussion.
Can I talk about a relationship if my partner is not attending?
Yes. You can explore your own feelings, boundaries, communication and decisions in individual counselling. CG does not offer couples or whole-family therapy.
What if I am unsure which clinician or service I need?
The free 15-minute consultation is a place to ask about your concerns, clinician fit, availability, fees and format. Meet the team to learn about their backgrounds. You do not need to decide everything before contacting us.
