What a group feels like

Useful learning, followed by time to just be together.

Most two-hour groups follow a simple rhythm that gives participants both practical support and room for friendships to grow naturally.

The learning is interactive and built around real kid and teen life—not a classroom lecture. Participants practise useful skills, then have time for games, music, pizza or snacks, and friendship. Many feel so comfortable that they return month after month.

Practical skillsReal connectionTime to be themselves
1

Interactive skill-building

The first half focuses on topics that matter in everyday life—emotions, communication, friendships, executive functioning, anxiety, confidence and coping. Lessons use conversation, examples and activities, so they feel engaging and relevant.
2

Relaxed social time

The second half gives participants time to talk, laugh, listen to music, play board games and enjoy pizza, snacks or pop. This is often where connection begins and real friendships have room to form.

The ages 4–5 and 6–8 groups are shorter, play-based sessions with learning and social connection woven together.

Questions parents often ask

Good to know before you reach out

Does my child need a diagnosis? No. We consider age, stage, goals, comfort and group fit. A diagnosis is not required to ask about or participate in a group.
What happens after I submit an enquiry?Alicia will contact you for a brief, no-pressure conversation. You can share what your child or teen is experiencing, ask questions and discuss which group may be the best fit. Submitting the form does not commit you to registering or paying.
Are receipts available?Yes. Receipts are provided for eligible professional services and may be submitted to extended health benefits. Some families may also use eligible OAP funding. We recommend confirming coverage with your provider.
What if my child or teen is nervous about joining? That is very common. Groups are kept small, welcoming and low-pressure. The fit conversation gives you a chance to discuss concerns and helps participants know what to expect before they begin.
Where are the groups held?Groups are held in person at 845 Harrington Court, Suite 200B, Burlington, inside Elemeno Clinic.
