Support for anxiety, low mood, loneliness, stress, grief, and the emotions that can come with change.
Private, compassionate counselling brought directly to your retirement community.
Calm Guidance partners with Burlington retirement residences to make individual counselling more accessible for residents navigating grief, anxiety, low mood, loneliness, life transitions, and adjustment to aging. This is compassionate counselling for seniors in Burlington, provided in the comfort of their own residence.

Individual counselling can complement the care and community supports already available at your residence—giving interested residents a confidential space to feel heard, understood, and supported.
Support for anxiety, low mood, loneliness, stress, grief, and the emotions that can come with change.
A compassionate space for adjustment to aging, changes in health, family shifts, loss, and identity.
Practical, person-centred support that helps residents feel more grounded and connected in everyday life.
On-site counselling gives interested residents a private, one-to-one place to talk through what is on their mind—without needing to arrange transportation to an outside office. It is designed to complement your residence’s care, wellness, and community programming.
Residents choose whether counselling feels right for them, with no pressure to participate.
We can begin with a conversation about a schedule and approach that works for your community.
Sessions are arranged thoughtfully around the rhythm of your residence and complement existing supports.
Alongside private individual counselling, residents often benefit from feeling connected, included, and understood within their community. We take a warm, respectful approach that honours each resident’s preferences.

We begin with a conversation about your community, a comfortable private space, and a schedule that works with the rhythm of your residence. There is no one-size-fits-all model.
We learn about your residence, resident needs, scheduling preferences, and the supports you already offer.
Together, we determine a practical way to introduce optional on-site counselling to interested residents—starting small if that is the right fit.
Residents decide whether counselling is right for them. Appointments remain private, respectful, and client-led.

Counselling is always tailored to the resident’s own goals, preferences, comfort level, and capacity to participate. It is confidential individual support, not emergency, crisis, or medical care; urgent concerns should continue through the residence’s established care and emergency procedures.
Yes. Counselling is always voluntary and based on the resident’s own interest and informed consent.

Start with a no-pressure conversation. We can talk through your residence, the residents you hope to support, and a practical way to begin.
Tell us a little about your residence and what you are exploring. We will respond as quickly as possible and help you consider whether a small, flexible on-site counselling offering could be a good fit.
